The Tools That Turn Ideas Into Reality in Record Time

The Launch Blueprint Part 5: The Essential Tools

Selecting the right tools is crucial for your startup. The entrepreneurial world moves fast, and having the right arsenal can be the difference between launching in weeks versus months.

Most importantly, the tools you're using should be lean:

  • Affordable pricing

  • Easy to use

Here's what I use:

See details below.

Documentation: Notion or Confluence

You need a tool to document your idea, goals, business case, etc.

When working solo on a project: Notion (free)

You can also use it for working in a team — but you hit the limits of the free tier soon. That's why for teams I recommend: Confluence (free).

Their free tier is very generous, and it includes a lot of cool stuff like whiteboards etc.

To Dos: Trello

I like Trello for to dos. It's free, easy to use and fast to set up.

Landing Page + Ads: Hostinger and Instagram

This is where most people get stuck in analysis paralysis. Don't overthink it — your first landing page doesn't need to be perfect, just put it out there!

Here's the tools I use to build a website in a couple of minutes and test demand for a new business idea ASAP:

  1. Set up a landing page with Hostinger Website Builder or Hostinger Horizons. It takes only 2 minutes to create a cool website.

    1. Use my referral link to get 20% off: https://hostinger.com?REFERRALCODE=LAUNCHASAP

    2. Website Builder:

      1. 25 (!) websites for $3 per month

      2. Easier to set up and maintain, but comes with certain layout and feature limitations

      3. Set up: Easy, 1 prompt

      4. Maintain: Drag and Drop, easy

      5. Certain layout and feature limitations

    3. Horizons:

      1. 50 websites and 30 prompts for $7 per month

      2. Set up: Easy, 1 prompt

      3. Maintain: Prompt or edit code. If you have a complex setup, maintaining might need more effort

      4. Almost unlimited features

  2. Buy your domain either with Hostinger (easiest way), or get it a bit cheaper on Dynadot

  3. Create some Instagram image ads (image ads are easiest to set up) on Meta Ads Manager

AI: ChatGPT or Claude

Get startup advice, etc.: ChatGPT — get the Plus subscription for $20. It's worth it.

Coding: Claude Code — get Pro subscription for $17/month. I had to upgrade to Max pretty fast, it's $100/month.

If you're using Claude for coding: Use it for everything else too, you don't need ChatGPT and Claude.

Email: Migadu

I haven't come across a cheaper email provider than Migadu, especially if you'd like to test multiple business ideas, domains, etc.: $19 per year for unlimited domains and mailboxes

Setup is a bit cumbersome — but their instructions are straightforward. I'm sure you even could use ChatGPT's agent mode to configure it for you. Agent mode is like ChatGPT on steroids — it visit websites like Migadu, configures them, etc. (If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out).

An easier alternative is Neo Mail — at $2.49/month for 1 mailbox. It's also cheap but way more expensive than Migadu.

Freelancers: Fiverr or Upwork

If you ever need an affordable freelancer for anything — get a name for your business, a logo, an app: Try Fiverr.

If you need to get something coded which is a bit more complex, I'd recommend trying Upwork. Upwork is for slightly bigger projects.

Here's the truth: while others are still researching and planning, you could be launching. The gap between idea and execution has never been smaller. These tools exist to eliminate your excuses.

But whatever you do — stay in motion. Momentum is what transforms ideas into reality. Launch quickly, iterate relentlessly, learn constantly. The market will teach you more in one week than planning and overthinking will in one year.

Here's your reminder: every empire started with a single step, every breakthrough began with someone brave enough to begin. You have everything you need right in front of you.
